S3 E9 - J.R. Ward’s BDB & Dracula-A Love Tale

Coming up on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: New York Times best-selling author, J.R. Ward, will join us for the final episode of Season 3. J.R. will talk about her Black Dagger Brotherhood series of novels which has been adapted by Passionflix. Is the series as steamy as the books? We’ll find out.  And Eva will review the new Dracula A Love Tale, currently out in Europe and to be released here in the States in January. It’s a great night all the way around!

We’ll talk with Chris Hamilton and EA Logan about A Couch of Anguish and Blood, Book One of their On the Vampire’s Couch series. Then Brian Forrest will join us to share his expertise on the 1972 film, Blackula. Finally, Brian, Cris, Dan & Eva will have a roundtable discussion and review the film. It’s an amazing show!

Then we'll talk about ScareFest Weekend with event manager Adrienne Deakins Elder. Dan's review will explore a gender bending Van Helsing twist.  And you can bet Eva and Dan will have lots to say about their trip to Richmond, VA, with Dacre Stoker.

Then Jeffrey Holmes will discuss his vampire-themed events which include an upcoming weekend in Richmond, VA, featuring Dacre Stoker and your Vamp Chat hosts! Finally, Eva reviews episode 1 of the new Passionflix series based on J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood novels.

This week on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: the mystery behind Dracula — the Icelandic “translation”.  We’ll talk with Iris Ichishita, host of The Powers of Darkness, about a shocking re-interpretation of Bram Stoker’s gothic masterpiece.  How was it discovered? What’s the importance of an earlier Swedish version? And was this controversy engineered by someone who stood to gain from it?  Then, Eva will review the 1995 horror/comedy, Vampire In Brooklyn.
